We were so excited to hear about Kate and William’s new arrival! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge adopted an adorable three-month old black Cocker Spaniel in December. However, the couple have said that they don’t want the name of their pup to be revealed.
‘He is a private pet and they do not want his name to made public although the couple are happy to confirm that they do, indeed, have a new dog,’ a spokesman at St Jame’s Palace, the couple’s headquarters, explained.
Royal sources have said that the adorable Cocker Spaniel is a ‘few months old’ and came from a litter bred by Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, who is known for favouring this particular breed.
‘I don’t know whether the Middleton family dog is a boy or a girl, but the Duke and Duchess’s puppy is the result of the family dog breeding with one belonging to another breeder,’ said a source.
