From animal prints to shocking pink hues, London’s autumn/winter catwalks provided endless inspiration and not just for humans – see how your pet can work the trends in our London Fashion Week Trend Report.

ANIMAL INSTINCT

London was transformed into an urban jungle at Tom Ford, where models stepped out in head-to-toe leopard print and maxi dresses in zebra stripes. More was definitely more on the catwalk, but your pet can work the trend in subtler ways thanks to Holly&Lil’s chic zebra collar and Puchi Leopard Print Bandanna.

WINTER PASTELS

Thought pastels were just for the summer months? Richard Nicoll, Simone Rocha and Roksanda Ilincic didn’t seem to think so as they sent a veritable feast of sherbet hues down the catwalk. Dress your pet in icy blues, sugary pinks and sugared almond yellow for next season, now.

LADY IN RED

Jonathan Saunders and J.W. Anderson (amongst others) had scarlet fever, championing red as the colour of the season. Opt for a collar or cashmere knit in vivid crimson for an on-trend look.

 wetLook

THE WET LOOK

Designers went back to the future with modern, wet-look fabrics, from high shine trenches to Burberry to PVC dresses at Roksanda Ilincic. Your pet can get in on the trend, too – think patent leather collars and Mulberry’s wet-look mac.

 thinkPink

THINK PINK!
Pink ladies came in their droves on the AW13 catwalks, with designers such as Moschino Cheap & Chic and Henry Holland showcasing the colour in its most shocking form. Meanwhile, Simone Rocha opted for a more ladylike pastel pink hue. Get the look with neon pink collars, leads, harnesses and jumpers (for both boys and girls!).

 fuzzy

MORE IS MORE

Maximalists will rejoice in the news that next season, more will definitely be more.  Think mixed metallic, giant applique detailing and clashing prints – sometimes all at once! Don’t be afraid to mix patterns or embrace the extravagant – Marco Morosini’s fuzzy pieces are perfect for tapping into the trend.
