Rufus at the Mulberry Autumn Winter 2012 Show

Monday February 20th 2012

On Sunday I got up early and went along to the Mulberry Autumn Winter 2012 Show at Claridges with my mistress Denise.  I was very lucky because canines were not
officially invited this year but Mulberry said I could go as the official mascot of PetsPyjamas and because we sell their lovely dog coats on our site.

It was all very exciting, we sat on furry benches and lots of celebrities were there including Mulberry’s new muse Lana
del Rey, film star Michelle Williams, and my major Sunday night canine crush Michelle Dougherty from Downton Abbey.

The theme of the show was “a wild and wonderful world” inspired by Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are.There were lots of lovely furry long flying jackets, hand knitted gilets and their canine
model was wearing a sheepskin trimmed and padded parka jacket in Zany Zig Zag. Perhaps they will ask me to model next year?

I saw Brix Smith Start with her adorable pugs and lots of people took my picture including Jess Cartney-Morley fashion editor of the Guardian. What an honour.

How I lost one kilo at Barry’s boot camp!

Wednesday January 25th 2012

I have now finished my ten day boot camp with Barry, the dog jogger. I was a bit worried at first about spending 10 days away from home but I am now thrilled with the results as I am over 1 kilo slimmer.  My mistress took me to Goddards, the vets in Fulham, for a final weigh in and they were amazed to find out that I had shed an eighth of my weight and I am now just over 7 kilos.
How did I do it? It was a mix of early morning running on Hampstead Heath and eating a bit less. I am now thrilled with the results and have had so many compliments about my new slimline appearance. My mistress is under strict instructions to keep up the good work and that means early morning runs for both of us and just a handful of my light food a day. But it’s well worth the effort.

Frosty Start to the Day!

Day Five: Frosty start to the day

Frosty start to the day. Very cold. By lunchtime I am allowed a well deserved rest. Can’t wait for my parents to see how trim I am after getting on with my regime. I wonder whether my mum has started her running regime or perhaps she’s just reading the Run Fat Bitch run book instead.

Day Four: Cat Nap

I jogged for 6K this morning on Hampstead Heath. Barry is very please with me! Although I do have very short legs I have managed to keep up with the others!

God it’s cold this morning Mum!!
