    Ryndle Corner is a beautiful, detached house overlooking Peasholm Park, one of the finest locations in Scarborough and voted one of the best parks in the UK. The park has stunning gardens and wildlife, and lots of leisurely walks can be taken here. The park is also home to the world famous Naval Warfare, a unique miniature sea battle that is re-enacted. There are plenty of rowing boats and pedaloes that you can explore the lake on or if you prefer a more leisurely ride there’s the swan launch motor boat. During the summer season there are regular concerts in the park. The park also boasts an 18-hole mini golf course so there’s plenty to do right on your doorstep.
    As well as Peasholm Park you are close to the cricket ground where the famous summer festival gives you the opportunity to see county cricket at its best. Ryndle Corner is a short stroll from the North Bay’s long sandy beach, which makes it a great location for a family holiday. Just down the hill is the Open Air Theatre, the largest open air amphitheatre in Europe where, during the summer season, you can enjoy concerts from world renowned artists. The Alpamare waterpark, offering water slides and a wave machine, is only a 10-minute stroll away. The location of Ryndle Corner means there really is something for everyone right on the doorstep!
    The long wide sandy beach has won awards for cleanliness making it perfect for families. For the more adventurous, surfing lessons can be booked from the surf shop just down the hill. Scarborough boasts two beaches with a long, flat promenade where you can enjoy early evening strolls. The castle stands proud on the hillside separating the two bays. The South Bay is more vibrant with the amusements and shops, and the North Bay is the quieter, more peaceful area. For those of you who like evening entertainment, the Stephen Joseph Theatre is close by. Famous for the world premieres of almost all of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays, the theatre is well worth a visit. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Scarborough is a great base to see what the east coast has to offer.
    Ryndle Corner is the perfect base for walkers too, being situated only a few miles from the famous North York Moors National Park, or you can walk part of the Cleveland Way along the rugged coast. Just a short drive and you can visit Whitby, Flamborough, Bridlington and the famous RSPB cliffs at Bempton where you can see the puffins and gannets in their natural habitat. The medieval city of York is only an hour away where you can visit the famous Minster or the railway museum.
    The house is very large and spacious with seven bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, and the dining room has two tables to accommodate everyone. There’s plenty of space for two or three families to share and still have privacy in this homely property.
