Head Brewers House (formerly known as Merrilodge), the former home of George Bateman and family as well as the Head Brewer’s house. This lovely family house has a swimming pool in the large garden with an entertaining area to the side, perfect for al fresco dining. Spacious accommodation awaits you with two large living rooms. Refurbished in 2021 to provide holiday accommodation, this is one of five properties available at the Brewery to enjoy. As well as its own large lawned garden and swimming pool guests can also enjoy the large shared garden adjacent to the Brewery Windmill which runs alongside the River Steeping where you can also fish from the bank. Discounted Brewery tours are available, which include sampling and the small market town of Wainfleet has a good range of shops, pubs, takeaways and a railway station a short walk away for days out. Situated in the heart of the Three Counties area and magnificent Malvern Hills, Ledbury is the perfect place for a holiday. Take time out to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery, picturesque towns and villages, and superb countryside. The Old Kennels Farm is a small, friendly, family-run farm of 24 acres, where tasty apples are grown in the on-site orchard, and each autumn they are harvested to make cider that is transported to some of the most prestigious venues in London and various outlets around the country. The holiday cottages (refs UK41822, UKC1766, UKC1767, UKC1768, UKC1769 and UKC1770) are conversions of old farm buildings that are at the top end of the site and are all named after old varieties of cider apples.
The farm is perfectly positioned on the outskirts of Ledbury in picturesque Herefordshire. Ledbury is a pretty, well-kept town in the east of the county, with fantastic examples of timber framed buildings, including the market hall dating back to the 17th century. Explore the town’s cobbled streets, which in summer are adorned with the most beautiful hanging baskets, and which have won ’Britain in Bloom’ competitions. Half a mile easy walk will take you into the town centre, where you will find public houses and restaurants, a small leisure centre, swimming pool and a gymnasium. There is also a variety of small individual shops and two larger supermarkets.
Local attractions include Eastnor Castle, a deer park, exhilarating Landrover experiences, off roading, golf, balloon flights, family pottery sessions at Eastnor Pottery, Hellens Manor, Newent Heritage Centre and The International Centre for Birds of Prey. Visit Westons, where you can experience a shire horse dray ride, sample Westons Cider on the mill tour or simply wander through the courtyard garden. Newbridge Farm Park is where children can get hands on with the animals or explore the Hop Pocket Shopping Village. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Nestled within the quiet village of Gimingham, but under 2 miles from the coast, Hall Farm Barns have been thoughtfully furnished and equipped to ensure guests have everything they need for a great stay. Light and airy throughout, these semi-detached barns can be booked individually or as a group for those wishing to accommodate large numbers while still retaining some privacy. The largest of the barns, The Great South Barn (UKC2527), sleeps twelve and benefits from four bathrooms, three of which are en-suite. Just as impressive, The Great North Barn (ref UKC2526), sleeps ten and has a glass ceiling area that is just perfect for gazing at blue skies and stars alike. The smaller, but perfectly formed Courtyard Barn (ref UKC2525), sleeps six and offers integrated ceiling speakers and retains an air of spaciousness, making it a great place in which to relax and unwind.

Close by lies the seaside village of Mundesley which offers a lovely sandy beach, a firm favourite with the locals but something of an undiscovered gem compared to its larger neighbour Cromer. Do make time to visit Cromer though, as here you will find a celebrated Edwardian seafront, a long promenade to stroll along and a famous pier, which often offers end of pier shows. Both seaside resorts also offer lots of places where you can eat and drink, and Cromer also has a cinema and Amazonia Zoo.

Close by also lies the gateway to the Norfolk Broads, Wroxham, which offers lots of attractions, including the opportunity to hire a day boat or join a charter as it glides through these famous waterways. The village of Cantley is a comfortable walk beside the river and has 2 pubs, The conservation village of Reedham, 8 minutes’ drive, has two pubs serving food, a fish and chip shop, delicatessen with café, a micro-brewery, railway station and riverside seating allowing you to watch the boating activity. The market town of Acle, 15 minutes’ drive, also has a railway station, supermarket, shops and cafés.
The Norfolk Broads National park offers miles of much-celebrated waterways to explore, daily boat hire and river trips excursions available. Wroxham, capital of the Broads is just 23 minutes’ drive with riverside restaurants and shops. Wonderful sandy beaches can be found along the Norfolk coastline; Great Yarmouth has plenty of traditional seaside family activities.
