The location is one of the most picturesque areas in Yorkshire, with fantastic walks and bike rides right on your doorstep. Head off on a woodland walk or follow some of the routes of the Tour de Yorkshire on your bike. The Dalby Forest is close by, home to the World Mountain Bike Championships. Have a go yourself on the world cup trails, or there are tracks to suit all abilities. With over 8,000 acres of woodland with wonderful walks and nature trails, this is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise. The cottage makes a great base from which to visit the North York Moors National Park, the east coast, Yorkshire Wolds and the many wonderful market towns that Yorkshire is famous for.
