This striking Tudor cottage offers a perfect base for a dog-friendly holiday to one of the loveliest villages in the South Downs – Ditchling. The area is full of historic charm but the Bank House is even more so! This dog-friendly cottage dates back to the 15th century and is in the very heart of the village.

Sleeping up to 8 guests, this holiday home in Sussex is the perfect place for family, friends and your canine companion. The solid oak front door opens to a beautiful reception room on the first floor, where you can relax on the sofas and watch a movie with Fido, or gather for a drink or two whilst taking in the ‘Olde World’ character. Next door, the fully equipped kitchen and dining room have a generous table for serving sociable home-cooked meals and drinks which can spill outside to the sweet, private patio during summer.

The four bedrooms can be found spread across the lower level and the second floor. On the lower level, you will find a king-size bedroom with an en suite shower room. It is nicely tucked away from the other. bedrooms on the top floor – ideal for night owls! The other three bedrooms are on the second floor and share a bathroom and separate shower. Some offer views across rooftops to the chalky ridge of the South Downs.
