This character stone-built cottage is situated on the edge of the historic village of Addingham which nestles in the valley of the River Wharfe between Ilkley and Skipton. This beautifully-appointed property provides ideal accommodation for a family or friends looking to explore the nearby Yorkshire Dales National Park. Refurbished to a high standard, using quality British-made furnishings throughout, this cosy cottage has a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare tasty meals to be enjoyed together in the dining area. The sitting room has a wonderful cast iron open fire set in a delightful wood and tiled surround, and with a lovely, comfortable sofa, is the perfect place for relaxing after a busy day out. There are beautiful walks to enjoy from the doorstep and the area is popular with both cyclists and walkers alike. Stroll along the River Wharfe and enjoy a picnic at Bolton Abbey, one of this region’s most scenic areas, or visit The Strid, a famous narrowing of the river with its gushing water, a must see. Spend a day at the spa town of Ilkley or visit Skipton with its market days and ancient castle.
