    Chaffcutters (ref. UKC1406) and Wheelwrights (ref. UKC1407) were converted from an old stone barn, the properties still have a couple of clues to their past life. The well-appointed cottages, with their enclosed courtyard gardens are located in the hamlet of Kentisbury Ford.
    Chapel Cottage (ref. HOOM) is a single storey, detached holiday cottage makes an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful North Devon countryside. The cottage has been thoughtfully converted, and the enclosed patio is an ideal suntrap from which to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
    From here, you are never very far from the attractions that make north Devon a great holiday destination. Whether you are a couple with a dog or a young family, there is much to see and do in the local area. The stunning, sandy beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton are a must during your stay where you can learn to surf or hopefully, top up your tan. There are many other coves and bays at Combe Martin, Lee Bay and Hele Bay which are ideal for rock pooling. Towards Lynton and Lynmouth there is dramatic scenery as Exmoor meets the coast, from the plunging cliffs at Countisbury Head to the beauty of the Valley of the Rocks. There is the Victoria Cliff Railway connecting Lynton to Lynmouth and also access to the Southwest Coast Path. At Ilfracombe, there is bustling harbourside and the Tunnels Beaches.
