What a fabulous property! If you are looking for a complete rest and get-away from it all, this is the choice for you. In peace and tranquillity this wonderful lodge completely makes the most of the amazing location, tucked away in a peaceful corner of the owner’s grounds. There is a large decking area right in front, with table and chairs, where you can enjoy the expansive views over the Slad Valley. Inside, on the ground floor is the open plan living area with mezzanine above, featuring a sofa, Smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen area and shower room. Appreciate the natural beauty surrounding you while you dine at the glass table, admiring the view from the large window. Up the spiral staircase will lead you to the mezzanine bedroom with double bed (there is a restricted headrooom). Deer, foxes and badgers are always visiting so you should have plenty of close-up photo opportunities of these charming creatures. The gardens are a labour of love by the owners who have restored since 2014, what was an overgrown wilderness, into a thing of beauty. Steps lead down from the decking to a lawned area. At the bottom of the stone steps is a picnic table, ideal for dining beneath the stars.

People come from all over Europe to see the beauty of these valleys. The area is a magnet for walkers, explorers, and cyclists. This is a place you will want to return to again and again.
